Summer 2010 Newsletter

Hi everyone,
Well, we're half way through the summer already. We hope you're staying cool and having a safe and happy summer. There's been a lot going on in the last few months and I apologize for not writing sooner. Some of you may have noticed some changes. First, I'd like to announce that we are now The Manny B. Group. Our show has evolved into a much bigger and better show package and I guarantee you will be totally, totally entertained.

In addition to our name change, we have added new member, Robert Edwards (see Robert's bio on our BIOS page). Robert not only adds high energy dancing and showmanship to the group, but also great vocal talents. With the addition of his talents, the group has added a variety of new R&B tunes, showcasing greats such as Prince, Stevie Wonder, Sly and Larry Graham. We are excited to have Robert Edwards with the Manny B. family. Welcome Robert!

We have also added two new venues to our performance schedule. We are happy to announce we will be bringing our show to ZIA PARK & BLACK GOLD CASINO in Hobbs, NM in August, and to ISLA GRAND BEACH RESORT in South Padre Island, TX for two weeks in October, 2010. Please see our Calendar for more information about these great new venues.

My special reminders:
--- We will be returning to EAGLE RIDGE RESORT & SPA in Galena, IL on Sept. 4 (Labor Day weekend). This is an awesome entertainment venue so we hope to see some of our Illinois and Wisconsin family and friends there. Those who have attended this venue at our past performances there, know what a great place Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is to come for an evening...to relax, enjoy the outdoors, be with friends, maybe make some new ones, have lots of fun and be totally entertained by The Manny B. Group. It's also a great place to spend the night. There are many accommodation options so check the Calendar for website/contact information. There will be a flier coming soon and we will post it on our calendar and send a reminder email to those of you on our mailing list. We hope to see you there.

--- The Manny B. Group will be performing at MENOMINEE CASINO in Keshena, WI, October 28-31. Aside from doing our normal shows, we will also be doing two Manny B. Monster Show performances. The days/times have not been determined yet, but watch our Calendar for updates. We hope some of you can make the journey up to the Menominee Casino for this special Halloween musical event. We'd love to see you there.

--- If you're wanting a New Years getaway, make plans now to come see us December 28 and 29 at Grand Casino, Hinckley, MN, and/or ring in the New Year 2011 with us at Black Bear Casino in Carlton, MN on December 30 and 31. See our Calendar for information on these two venues and make your reservations now.

To our family and friends on the West Coast, we're hoping that as the economy recovers, things will begin to open up in Reno and Las Vegas, NV areas, and we can bring our show to you once again. We'd love to see you!
